 Hello everybody and thank you for checking out the Cortez Family Worship Center's web-site. We are a Foursquare Church. Foursquare is a Bible believing organization that is interdenominational working closely with many other Christian organizations to advance the Kingdom of God. We are Biblically balanced, not fanatical one way or the other. We are pastors Stuart and Liliana Hanold both ordained ministers of the gospel for the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. We've been pastoring almost 18 years after attending the World Harvest Bible School. During that time, by God's grace, We've won the pastor of the year award for the South Central District of Foursquare, a five state area. Our church now by the grace of God has more members and a larger Sunday morning attendance than we every have had in the history of the church. We focus on loving people where they are at, healing and mending the broken hearted, training the saints to do the work of the ministry, and releasing people into the ministry by giving them a chance to do the ministry where it's O.K. to make honest, healthy, mistakes. (Luke 4:18) We are definitely NOT a one man show. We have dynamic men's and women's ministry, a thriving ministry to the jail and to the down and out people that nobody else wants. We take care of the poor and the widows with our food bank and clothing center. We understand the value of prayer and we love Israel. The Cortez Family Worship Center is a safe place for all ages. We have live, upbeat praise and worship, inspiring preaching and teaching and the most loving congregation around. If your coming to Cortez you won't regret at least visiting us at 500 N. Washington.
